Jackson McGee

Detective Jackson McGee is a member of the Portland Police Department's criminal investigations unit.

History

Jackson McGee was born on July 5th of 1993 in Beaverton, Oregon. He grew up to be interested in criminology due to his own father being a police officer. He enlisted in the army in 2014 to help him pay off for further college. It was in active duty that he acquired his prominent scar over his eye from chemical burns. After his service, he entered college to study criminology. He graduated and was soon hired by the Portland Police Department to be a Police Detective.

Dr. Plague case

March 29th of 2022, Detective McGee investigated the mysterious death of Horace Palmer, a former investor of Advanced Medical Solutions. McGee ruled he was exposed to anthrax and died quickly at his own home. Soon, the criminal Dr. Plague struck the annual Spring Gala and killed Dr. John Keller. McGee was brought to the case and came under the attention of the escaped convict, Dr. Kevin O'Reilly. He placed the two cases together and went to investigate. He questioned Henry Grimm, one of Dr. Plague's henchmen, for the base of operations.   When he arrived there, he approached a sick Emerald-Man, and asked for his collaboration on the case. They learned of O'Reilly's past from raiding the base. The police were commanded by Dr. Plague to make a ransom, lest anything worse happened. Emerald-Man, recognizing discrepancies in Dr. Plague's appearance, suspected a dupe. Thus, when McGee and the other police went to confront Dr. Plague for the ransom, McGee dressed as Emerald-Man. Emerald-Man's suspicions turned out correct, with McGee exposing the impostor in Emerald-Man's disguise.   On the other side of the city, Emerald-Man confronted Dr. Plague in the Aerial Tram. McGee and the other police arrived to Emerald-Man's location and arrested Dr. Plague on the spot. McGee thanked Emerald-Man for his efforts, and gave Emerald-Man the deputy badge that the Chief of Police wanted him to have. McGee also kept his Emerald-Man uniform, claiming to be a "big fan."
