The fight now concluded, our party searched the camp.

Aefic checked the bodies of the bandits, looking through their pockets and mostly finding random trash and 3 copper.

Roderic looked in the half burned tent finding a cryptic message on a torn off piece of parchement.
Market place, B - Green sash with a purple bird
Have you seen the flowers this spring?
expected response - Yes, the Helebore are especially beautiful this year
I've never seen those, I hear they come from the West

And once again Leutgar put out the fire.

The party then proceeded to head back toward Hewe, stopping for the night not far from where they had fought their first fight of the day. On the next day they once again arrived in Hewe.

  • Roderic and Leutgar went to look for the arrows and quiver for Edwen
  • Aefic and Alfgar went to find the bard they had promised to escort to Bethencourt
  • Auron went looking for a means to preserve the hands of the bandits, eventually choosing to brine them after purchasing the salt from the tavern keeper.

  • The arrows were ready early and exactly as advertised, the quiver however proved useless.

Oswulf was found passed out drunk at a table in the tavern to no-one's surprise.

After waking Oswulf, he and Aefic struck up a performance at which the party's newest member excelled himself.

The party rented out the 4 rooms of the east wing again, the west wing being the common sleeping room, Roderic sharpened the looted blades, Auron's room was smelly, Leutgar had a bit of a surprise, Alfgar was snoring loudly, of the choices, once Aefic came upstairs he chose to sleep in Auron's room despite the smell.

In the morning the party awoke, collected Oswulf the bard from downstairs, and headed out to return to Bethencourt after making Alfgar carry the barrel of hands.
