Life, Relationship change
After his unpleasant evening with the guards Alfgar collapsed for the night before heading off down the road with absolutely no preparation to find his companions.
The party meanwhile, woke from their slumber beside the road, and made their way into Hewe having realized that with the town's proximity, the woods in this area were too well trafficked to find any bandit trace.
Upon entering the town, the party were greeted by the sight of a familiar looking older man in a faded red cloak, who wished to pick their brains on the subject of conditions of the road between Hewe and Bethencourt.
Roderic offered the Bard that if he wished to have their protection on his trip, he could await their return from Martel, at which he offered his new friends a drink.
At this point, Alfgar rejoined the group, coming up from behind them to to meet his fellow inebriate in conversation, the party proceeded to the tavern, finding it mostly unpopulated in the fore-noon, and Bard Oswulf challenged Alfgar to a drinking contest.
Alfgar won the contest by a hair, leaving both of the contestants in no position to continue anywhere that day, rooms were acquired for the day and night, and the party helped the two upstairs with their buckets.
Auron stayed behind to mind the drunkards while Roderic and Leutgar went to the Stave and String to order custom arrows as a gift for Edwen (pink and brown goose-quill), and then proceeded to the local shoemaker's to see if he could make something resembling a quiver, which after some consideration, he was amenable to trying (after all, it can't be that much different than a boot-shaft with a bottom on it right?)
The two then returned to the tavern where they had left Auron and company, where Auron was busy making illusions and connections.
Auron then left the tavern to visit Handhewn Harmonies where he tried a couple of instruments, realizing that much as he might wish otherwise, the wares were still out of his reach... though he would love to return later.
