Ubel Serranus the Dark Hand

Knight of the Obsidian Oath

Ubel Serranus swore long ago in an unknown place and time an Obsidian Oath to the King in Black. It is whispered that he was a born into a family of Seers that faithfully served the senate of the Imperium and Lythelos, yet he was never blessed with any sight of the future himself. Instead his older sister was an oracle of such renown that had not been seen in centuries. On a dark night she recieved some horrific visions of some Disaster that is to befall the Imperium they lived in. None know the exact details except Ubel, who held her in his arms as she screamed about her cryptic visions to her younger brother about what was to happen before she suddenly took a shard of glass from a broken glass and pierced her eyes in an attempt to stop the vision. She later died from her wounds. From there it is reported that Ubel disapered for some years only to return to suddenly be elected a senate member seemingly out of nowhere as many were persuaded by the man who had a charisma that could not be denied. Though some reported that Ubel always seemingly disapered from his chambers every night, a rumor that was quickly laid to rest as several senate members family members were discovered dead, as Ubel found the murderer and brought him to justice for his fellow senate members these rumors quickly died.   

The Dark Hand

Ubel Serranus was granted the title of Dark Hand when after years of nightly crusades he finally had crushed the windpipes of ten different champions of each of the Ten different Gods and bent a champion of the other Obsidian Lords to his will. As the right gauntlet he wears changed one night growing sharper and taking a menacing air around it as it granted Ubel dark power for him to use on his conquest and he recieved the title of Dark Hand. Stories have long spread around the Dark Hand with some saying that he can rip the sun out of the sky while others say you can feel his grip around your throat at all times. Ubel seeks to unite all under the King in Black as he believes that is the only way to prevent the coming Disaster his sister foresaw and the only way of making her death meaningful. As the title of Dark Hand is a recent gift Ubel must prove himself worthy of it as he seeks a platform to start spreading the Banner of Domination across more than just Aitreas as he makes his way to take the rumored Proving Grounds for himeslf after recieving an invitation to the Red Holiday.
