Dwarf of Demtodhir
Krigom Vereghir is one of the few dwarves that leaves their mountain home to go and better himself for the sake of his own people. The heir to the renowned Clan Vereghir the fore-most eperts of magic within the kingdom and leaders of the Alindr Temple within the kingdom Krigom and his clan guard knowledge of such wide variety and such terrifying power that even the other clan leaders do not know of the sum total they guard deep within their vaults including the Deeplord himself. All the clans and the Deeplord know, is that if Clan Vereghir calls for aid it is most wise to provide it for what they cannot handle themselves must be at a level that it threatens Demtodhir itself. It is Krigom who is set to inherit such a dangerous legacy and lead a clan of powerful spellcasters and spies a power that cannot kill dragons, but a power that can move kingdoms at couple of words from the that wields it. Many already have high hopes for Krigom after stories of his sucess in stimming the flow from a powerful Ixa'croth invasion was due to him and his team of dwarves he led down into the vaults. Quiter are the rumors that surround him, that he uses and studies strange magic not seen since the Reckoning, magic that would be banned by his clan if any even knew of it in the first place, proof of Clan Vereghir's effectiveness.
Grandson of a Sage
Krigom Vereghir is the grandson of Thrakdril Vereghir, one of the Sages of Order during the Reckoning. It is he that brought Clan Vereghir to the heights it is today and known only by his descendents was the first to derive arcane formulas for chronomancy. Of all of Krigoms legacies and inheritaces it is Thrakedril's books on chronomancy that may be his greatest. An inheritance that was stolen from Clan Vereghir before Krigom was of the age to be allowed to study them as such he deviated from his academic plans in the Imperial College and instead was instructed to secretly pursue a lead he had been given by a figure hidden in magic and darkness that lead him to the town of Otari. There after a grueling series of encounters within a dangerous dungeon he found a few of the stolen books though he still has no clues on who originally stole them. Even with the limited research materials he began the process of becoming the first chronomancer in the Age of Extant, a feat worthy of the heir to Clan Vereghir.
Only in Knowing the Possibilities of the Darkness can One Combat It
Of all the commandments of Alindr it is the search of knowledge that drives Krigom the most, no matter what its contents may be. Whether basic arcane formulas for spells or rituals deemed sacrilegious by other followers of the Ten Krigom does not care for it is his responsibility to objectively categorize the knowledge he finds when it comes time to add them to his clan's vaults and no one elses. Besides his regular academic studies and the possibility of grasping time magic Krigom also has been researching more occultic lore and rituals to prepare himself for future encounters with beings not of Alindr's Design. Some may say that such a variety and complexiety of such topics is far too much for one to get very far in any the subjects, but a real dwarf knows time spent complaining is time better spent working or drinking.
