Well of Consciousness

The Well of Consciousness overwrites the Magidrones from the collective, Bomble, to their individual personalities. As it transmits this signal, the collective signal from their original Golem bodies slowly begins to come through, requiring them to occasionally report to the Well to refresh their individuality. If they destroyed their original golem bodies in the Hall of Golems, they would no longer need this constant transmission and refreshing, but Don Bomble wont allow this, saying the original bodies are important for updating the well.

The Well of Consciousness was created by the Magidrones as a way of separating their collective consciousness so they could gamble without knowing exactly what the others have. It is a literal well of water with swirling green magical strands akin to string algae. Dipping your hand into the water causes it to glow with an unnatural light for the next minute. The Magidrones come here to connect and redownload their personality from the hivemind when they start to lose their individuality. While connected, they feel the combined emotions of all Magidrones. This usually gives them great satisfaction in their role at the casino. Those who's jobs have been outsourced (for example the defunct judge for The Perfect Pitch) feel content with their removal from their job while connected. Then, when they are once again limited to their single consciousness, they are displeased with their inability to fulfill their purpose. This does not mean that they cannot be made content with their new purpose, but it would require Don Bomble to reprogram their directive from the well of consciousness. And it can sometimes be hard to locate and differentiate them from each other in the Hall of Golems.
