Trivia Night
Trivia night is hosted in vast room on the fourth floor. It has a polished stone floor that reflects the lights on the ceiling fans that spin lazily. A sea of sanded wooden picnic tables fill the space with people sitting at them filling out answers on sheets of paper. At the door is a podium-like stand with papers and small inkwells with quills. A smooth jazz plays over speakers from the ceiling wreathed in glowing yellow Christmas lights. Against the far wall is a stage with a Magidrone asking questions. To the right is a small drink bar with a menu crafted from pallets nailed to the wall. A Magidrone in a hoodie awaits your order and swiftly mixes it together.
The party can participate in the Trivia Night. It costs them 100 chips to attempt the test and may bet on if they beat another team. If they do so, they must make a series of different checks for the questions. They make an Arcana, History, Nature, and Religion check. The DC equals 15 for each of these. If they pass all 4, they get a perfect score and. The players may answer some real life trivia questions in order to roll again on any of these rolls. For arcana, the DM will choose a random spell and read out its description, not including its name if it is stated in the spell. For history, nature or religion, the DM may choose a question from the table at the bottom. After receiving their results, they win 50 chips per correct answer. Then if the players bet against another team, the DM will roll using a +4 for each stat: Arcana, History, Nature, and Religion. He will determine the number of successes using the DC above and compare it to the players'. If the NPC team has less successes, the party wins. If they are the same, the party ties and gets their bet back, and if it is lower, the party loses.
Luck ???
