The Golden Sparrow

The Golden Sparrow is a merchant ship headed to Veltia that was hijacked by Captain Bartholomeow Courageous. It was then rescued and commandeered by the crew of the White Hawk.

Among the cargo for Veltia were an assortment of valuable spices (many of which can be used for spellcasting), statues, paintings and other forms of fine art totaling 2000gp. The ship itself was bought at 3000gp, though the damages and wear would reduce its selling price.

The main deck is fairly straightforward, pear-shaped wooden deck with worn boards. Some boards even coming up, needing to be nailed back down. It has three masts, the rear being triangular as opposed to the other two square rigged masts. The ship is decorated in brown and gold accents. This is meant to signify it as a Veltian vessel, as dictated by the Atraxian sailing charter.

It has captain's quarters at the rear, with a small windowed door leading into a quaint office. A weirdly nice Herman miller sits behind a moderately priced desk. The drawers of which contain a small chest and other calligraphy supplies. On the desk sits a map, some sea charts, and a ships manifest.

On the aft, there are two sets of stairs on either side of the door to the captain's quarters. One on the starboard side going up to the helm. Another set of stairs on the portside lead down to the cargo hold. It is a dark and musty room, lit only by the lamps and the light streaming from between the boards in the deck. A small access for the bilge is at the bow of this floor.
