Slots

A long hall on the first floor filled with row after row of colorful glowing slot machines, each with a low back red leather barstool. The hall practically pulses with energy as the mechanical sounds of the slot wheels echoes from one end of the room to the other.

Rolling once costs a singular 5gp chip. You can insert multiple at once to multiply whatever you get.

To play, players will roll a d100. The result of this roll will be added to their luck stat and averaged across all their rolls. This average luck will determine their success with the slots. The slots results table is listed below:

0-2020-4040-6060-8080-100
The player receives no special bonus. Big loss! The player receives back half their bet. Better luck next time! The player wins back what they bet. Breaking even ain't losing! The player wins 1.5x their bet. Not too shabby! The player receives double what they bet. STAMPEDE!!!
An alternative ruleset for the slots is as follows: The player rolls 3d6 and looks at the numbers. If they have no relation, the player loses. If two of the numbers add up to the third, they break even. If two of the numbers multiply by each other result in the third, they win 1.5x. If the numbers are in a sequence (e.g. 4-5-6) they win double. And if the numbers are all the same, they win triple their bet.

If the players win more than 5000gp (1000 chips) in a single play, their machine will malfunction and become inoperable. Casino staff escort them out of the room for tampering with the machine. This is quite unlucky and will remove the highest number from their luck stat calculation. They will be unable to enter the room for the rest of the day.
