Ptelea Amaryllis

Ptelea Amaryllis is a dark skinned satyr with a black trunk hose with a red layer underneath. She has a curly afro with hazel eyes. Goat hooves extend from the bottom of the trunk hose. Ptelea left the Fey Isles looking to make it at Patria Poetarum, but got tricked into signing seven contracts that made her a directors assistant, trapping her under the tutelage of Jean Von Polier, Eduardo Duskborne, Andrea Bocelli, Dembe Baingana, MAX FLEXINGTON, Kabir Kumar, and Paul. She steals Paul's invitation to the Wild Magic Table Casino and hitches a ride on the Black Purl with the hope of telling her stories there, at the "greatest place in Elysia". At the casino, she auditions on The Perfect Pitch to use the theater to preform stage plays that will be entirely managed by her, she only needed bodies to portray the characters. The judges signed off on this deal, with the condition that her first stage play be the tale of Bomble and his friends. She feels confident in her screenplay for The Bomble Rebellion and it SHOULD be an easy play to act out, thanks to the magidrones perfect logged memory of the events that transpired in the rebellion. However, while the magidrones excel in the scenes that are 1 to 1 retellings of the rebellion, they can't act. Their grating monotone voices will drive the theater to exhaustion should they be the only actors in this hour and a half performance. Ptelea is frustrated with their performance and her own shortcomings. She confident in her writing, but her casting could use a little work.

Ptelea is now a member of the White Hawk as they sail to Yud'dha. She is indebted to the ship for freeing her from the Casino and helping her with her debut. Tagging along on their adventures also seems like a worthwhile way of provide her with inspiration for her next script.

At will:

Prestidigitation., Vicious Mockery, Minor Illusion

1/day:

Sending, Hypnotic Pattern, Fear

2/day:

Suggestion, Enlarger/Reduce, Phantasmal Force

3/day:

Disguise self, Tasha's Hideous Laughter, Charm Person, Command

Inspiration (4/day). Ptelea can supernaturally inspire others through words, music, or dance. This inspiration is represented by her Bardic Inspiration die, which is a d8. Ptelea can confer a Bardic Inspiration die a number of times equal to her Charisma modifier (4 times), and she regains all expended uses when she finishes a Long Rest.

Magic Resistance. Ptelea has advantage on saving throws against spells.

Mirthful Leaps. Whenever Ptelea makes a long jump or a high jump, she can roll a d8 and add the number rolled to the number of feet she covers, even when making a standing jump. This extra distance costs movement as normal.

Ram. Ptelea can use her head and horns to make unarmed strikes. When she hits with them, the strike deals 1d6 + her Strength modifier bludgeoning damage, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.

Actions

Ram. Melee Weapon Attack: -1 to hit, reach 5ft, one target. Hit: 1d6 - 1 bludgeoning damage

Bonus Actions

Bardic Inspiration. As a Bonus Action, Ptelea can inspire another creature within 60 feet of herself who can see or hear her. That creature gains one of her Bardic Inspiration dice. A creature can have only one Bardic Inspiration die at a time. Once within the next hour when the creature fails a D20 Test, the creature can roll the Bardic Inspiration die and add the number rolled to the d20, potentially turning the failure into a success. A Bardic Inspiration die is expended when it's rolled.

Reactions

Cutting Words. Ptelea has learned to use her wit to supernaturally distract, confuse, and otherwise sap the confidence and competence of others. When a creature that she can see within 60 feet of herself makes a damage roll or succeeds on an ability check or attack roll, she can take a Reaction to expend one use of her Bardic Inspiration; she rolls her Bardic Inspiration die, and subtracts the number rolled from the creature's roll, reducing the damage or potentially turning the success into a failure.
