The Outer Imaginations

The Outer Imaginations is a catch-all term for all terrains beyond the world of Elysia. Currently within the known universe this contains the Wyrd, the Everflow, the Planes of Existence and Chaospace   The Wyrd is the transparent nonexistence between planets and stars. The Wyrd contains no life or magic nor any ability to sustain either. Connecting the planets and stars throughout the Wyrd is the Everflow, an ordered current of arcane energy. The Everflow can be seen from the outside as a tunnel of rainbow coloured dust particles moving in a stream that often changes directions. The Everflow can be used to travel through the Wyrd if you are able to steer against and take advantage of the winds of magic. Where the Wyrd cannot support breathing life or any type of growth, the Everflow sustains sentient entities and continues to support growth due to the arcane energy. However the Everflow can sometimes change it's flow direction in dangerous ways, occasionally throwing entities inside out into the Wyrd.   There are rumors that beyond the Wyrd and the Everflow is an expanse of Chaospace. Chaospace is a chaotic double of the Wyrd. Pockets of Chaospace look the same as the Wyrd save for very rare explosions of magic. Chaospace is just as uninhabitable as the Wyrd but it seems to be able to create magic from nothing, including sentient entities. These things usually decay or otherwise fade, but sometimes they spawn close to the Everflow and are able to live within the currents. In addition, Chaospace can accelerate or decelerate time. It is thought that the other Planes of Existence exist within Chaospace.   The Planes of Existence are a collection of planes that cannot be reached through non-magical warp travel. These planes seem to signify and contain a singular type of magic. The known Planes of Existence are Haven: the Idea of Order, the Heart of Nature, Pandemonius: the Arcane Realm, U'aal: the Everlasting Sea, Dracaron: the Realm of Eternal Flame, Eldritch: the Realm of Insurmountable Night, Shac'qalan: the Tether of Dreams and Geddon: The Black Flame that Lurks Below.
