Sect of the Black Dawn
The Sect of the Black dawn are an organization of thieves and shadow magicians under the lead of a Valentian man called Orbos. They stowed away on a Valentian moving castle Everlasting Climax, sailed to Summerest Isle in search of an ancient artifact: the Dragon Horn. The Black Dawn hijacked the ship, bribed many of its workers and took on the ruler of Summerest, High Ruler Pliath Mence, his daughter Melissa and his personal guard. When the ship was far out in the Ithiad Ocean, the Black Dawn ambushed the celebration and imprisoned them all.
Pliath was tortured as to the whereabouts of the Dragon Horn. He revealed that it was around his daughter, Melissa's neck. Melissa, in contrast to her father's painful treatment, was offered a banquet and plied with questions politely. Hearing the news of a fire and escaped loyalists in the prison area which the Black Sect had bribed, Orbos took lead of the interrogation of Melissa. When the escaped prisoners burst through a trap door the Black Dawn had made secretly, both Loyal Valentians and the escaped prisoners drew swords on each other. Orbos threatened to kill Melissa. A fight ensued where Melissa was killed and the Dragon Horn taken.
Orbos flew away on the back of a massive green dragon, leaving the ship to be consumed by the Valentian Fire barrels he had stashed in various rooms, destroying the ship and those within it.
