The Black Sages
The organisation of sages and monks who run a series of libraries in the Vassa, originally their own group, the Black Sages eventually formed a partnership with the Eburnean Assembly so there’s a lot of communication and camaraderie between these monks.
The people are known as the black sages, because they literally only wear black, with a necklace or a pin depicting an elephant holding a reed in its trunk. Many are also Tytonids, so they might also wear a pin or necklace with the symbol of The Tytonids .
