Zekdremor and Clan Ironcrown founded

Founding

Tordek Ironcrown establishes the Ironcrown clan and founds Zekdremor under Mount Braniv.

This is one of the few exact dates available from the First Era. It was preserved in an inscription carved into the throne room in Zekdremor’s royal palace. The inscription reads (translated): “The Iron Crown was forged in the twelve-hundred-thirty-fifth year after the coming of the Dragons, and now, two years later, I, Tordek Ironcrown, coronated by High Priest Morgran, wear it as a symbol of my authority as chief of the Ironcrown clan and King of the Mædenjolt Mountains.” The Iron Crown will serve as the as the crown worn by Dwarvish kings in Zekdremor into the Fourth Era.
