Dwarves' War against the Dragons

Military action

Tordek Ironcrown, inspired by the giants' attempt to overthrow their Dragon overlord and anxious to test the power of his kingdom, wages a war against the Dragons.

An army of dwarves under Tordek Ironcrown attempt to defeat the Dragons ruling the Mædenjolt Mountains. In 1E 1330, Tordek falls in battle and is succeeded by his son, Gilthur, who becomes chief of the Ironcrown clan. A combined army of kobolds and Dragonborn besiege Zekdremor in 1E 1350, aided by some dragons, including Ninnarog the Devourer. In 1E 1400, Zekdremor falls. Much of the city is in ruins and the surviving dwarves are scattered. Gilthur Ironcrown leads a group of survivors to the Kainir Mountains. Following the war, goblins and kobolds overran the Mædenjolt Mountains.
