Kaanvaac

Kaanvaac is the home of the Half-orcs, or their home in current times. The country takes up the entirety of the region of Alnn known as Nastkaanda. This country is predominantly comprised of nearly entirely of Half-Orcs the others races are only commonly found in the few port cities on the eastern coast of the country. The Half-orc population is extremely isolationist. The governmental system of the country is made up of 5 "monarchs" each one focuses on certain aspects of governance such as foreign relations or economics. However, the government of Kaanvaac has a very light hand on its citizens. Many of its decisions affect only the large population centers of the country.

History

Kaanvaac was formed with the arrival of the Half-Orc onto Elsinya. They arrived in a massive fleet of battered ships. The ships appeared to be ancient having weathered harsh conditions for extreme amounts of time. The Half-Orcs onboard told a story of a journey lasting for some years. All they could remember was that they had fled their homeland, some sort of calamity had befallen it. The people had then fled into ships to flee to a refuge. They are unsure of where their homeland is, only vague fragments of their home remained in the few members of the people that had lived in their homeland. They called this homeland of theirs Eern.
