Deirza
Deirza is the Aztan of the Anwer city of Vanaha. It was rumoured that Deirza was only a mercenary for a few years before realizing that taking control of the only major permanent settlement (at the time) in Anwer would suit him much better, and so he hired enough mercenaries to take the town and become its Aztan. Those rumours also told that Effandi had been one of the main mercenaries who worked with Deirza before his "rise" to power, but Effandi would never talk about it. The Bones of Effandi were one of the few mercenary groups banned from entering Vanaha, at least according to Effandi.
Deirza was said to have short, cropped black hair and a thick moustache that hung over his half-elven lip. He was trim, despite how complacent he had become over the years as Vanaha and not needing to perform any major physical duties as a result.
It was said that Deirza kept many grudges, but that he would always exact his revenge eventually (hence the rumours that he was involved in the death of those in the Bones of Effandi). But, it was also said that he was a shrewd trader and taskmaster who was generally kind and welcome to those passing through Anwer.
