Perlshaw
Perlshaw, 'The Adventurer's Capital of the World", is diverse in population, though humans take the majority with 32% of the population being human, then elves at 25%, dwarves at 20%, gnomes at 12%, and dragonborn at 9%, with various other minority races taking up the other 2%.
Perlshaw's primary income comes from exporting various crystals, ores, and exotic plant species. While not necessarily a mining town, it does take advantage of its exotic underground. Perlshaw cavern is the only natural way to reach the Glaenian underdark, (not to say that it's impossible to dig there manually), and the Glaenian underdark is the only known place in the world with raw Mithril or Undershrooms.
Perlshaw primarily spends its money on a work force to get things done, including adventurers for all sorts of reasons. Many dwarves from the Calchec collection make their journeys to Perlshaw, knowing their strength is sought after for construction and mining purposes, and they can make a real living there. Additionally, Adventurers are needed both for slaying monsters that pose a threat to the citizens of the town, and keeping miners alive - any underdark is an incredibly dangerous place, and no band of dwarven miners could hope to hold off the strong monsters that live there.
Government
Perlshaw is ruled by the council of Glaenia. Their votes are worth 1.1 in national elections.
