The Blind Bog
To describe the land as simply a bog would be a gross misunderstanding of territory. Sure, the land is thick with thick canopies of slanting trees, but the countryside is dotted with hundreds if not thousands of lakes with small river systems spreading out like the threads of spider webs, loosely connecting many if not most of these bodies of water together. Small fishing and rural communities are common in these parts, some even speak of crannog born cities that float through the winding waterways. What gives the land its curious name is its curious nature; divination or other perception altering magics do not work within the borders of the realm, nor can they penetrate within from without.
