The Black Wet
More of a country sized landmark than any form of sovereign nation-state. The Black Wet is said to be the oldest mire in the world, for the wonders hidden beneath the brackish pools are echoes of ages past. Small wonder it is that the Black Wet is not well excavated, what with the varied and shape and sizes of the insectoid horrors that also lurk within the icore-like waters, unaware of the historical treasures they crawl and scuttle about. It is truly a blighted place, a place where nature reviles that which it does not recognize as itself and quickly endeavors to reclaim.
