Etheram Rain
In the Land of the Lordstone, above the city of Seaseau, every night dances lights like dancing tides in the sky. These lights carry over the countryside, as far as their ephemeral power can take them, only to shower down upon the world like gentle rain. It is said this phenomena is what gives the technicolor quality to the plants and animals that populate the land of Amysthine. It is one of the quiet, yet beguiling ways the lordstone eminates its power and grace. This nightly occurance drove Heavanure Cantolaoch to found her adventuring guild in days of yore, when the colored kings still sat the thrones of a divided Amysthine. She named her guild for the phenomenon that had captured her excitement as a child and encouraged her to go out farther than the rain could reach.
To this day, the guildmembers of Etheram Rain carry on as great explorers and adventurers, carrying the colorful lights of their homeland with them on remarkable cloaks.
Culture
Members of the Etheram Rain are most commonly identified by their cloaks, which are hued to resemble the lights of their namesake. Each cloak is handstitched and dyed, so no two are the same. Some members have even stitched paterns of star maps into their cloaks, the maps an echo of the very night their cloak was dyed and they joined the guild.
Elders within the guild claim that the dyes react to the nightly phenomenon, imprinting a cosmic marker upon the cloak for protection and a destiny woven to the composition of the lights. Some have gone farther to insist that the way the colors of the cloak set has divinative properties.
