Newcomers to the Dolason Nevui start the construction of the first city, Biret. Biret is made mostly of stone from the igneous rock that forms the mountains of the interior of the island. The volcano that had created the island chain rumbled only rarely, and most volcanic activity was on one of the lesser islands at the edge of the Dolason Nevui. Biret was built to withstand a lava flow, directing its flow toward the ocean and the hills to the south-east of the city.

The city is mapped out next to a Dragios port that had been used as a monitoring station for the oceans of Elivera. Most of the scientific equipment still worked, but humans had destroyed its ability to submit its data off planet. They build Biret around this station that was embedded in the center of the bay of the largest island of Dolason Nevui, where the station's interface peaks above the waters like an black iceberg.   Buildings were built above ground, to avoid flooding, on stone pillars with thick steel columns. Further inland, the buildings were built into the hills themselves, with half the building underground. Trees and flower gardens were situated along the walkways and the vehicular paths to try to bring color to the stone city. Due to the immense amount of labor and effort it took to move the stone and build, the construction of Biret was along process that took decades.   Once it's city center, port, food district, and residential districts were completed, the city held its first annual parade in honor of the completion of Biret in 118 E. This became an event they held every 30 qaesa.   Although the town has expanded greatly to cover large swathes of the inner part of the island in modern times, much of the older sections of the city has been restored and kept in relatively good shape despite their age.
