Wise One chants lore of the universe. Young Fool listens. Breathe in the story, breathe out life, and be one with the words that mark the world in a technicolor tapestry, that defines how to be.
Kanitu 1
We are made of stories. The very atoms of our beings,
the stories of the stars that fused our atoms, our ancestry.
Tales built on stories built on tales,
each interlocking level building the pyramid higher and higher,
until the world cracked and the river of words flooded our land.
We drank deep of the waters.
The words melded to our sinews,
grafted to our bones, resonated with our neurons.
With these words, we are united.
So note it be.
Kanitu 2
Even silence holds a secret tale. Patience draws it free. Each element of breath pulses with potential,
Particles vibrate with desire to unleash what lays hidden.
Patience unveils, gentle reinforcement inspires
We mold from silence the truth in its layers.
So note it be.
Kanitu 3
Life burns consciousness into the fabric of the cosmosunrestrained, life ignites evolutionary tales
Interdependence woven through the tapestry of the universe
Humans cannot exist without the breath of the planet,
inhaled to inflame the cell's powerhouse, exhaled to restart
the cycle of pulmonary fibers that stitch flora and fauna in one.
Never forsake this relationship, reciprocity is life.
So note it be.
Kanitu 4
The planet breathes, the trees blooms,
life intersects the budding womb,
the pierce of exhale germinates
the seeds of birth, death, rebirth.
So note it be.
Kanitu 5
Emotions birthed in our synapses govern our waysuntil tamed and harnessed, mediate and concentrate
breathe with the planet's breath, sing the planet's song,
beat one's feet to the Elivera's heartbeat,
Centered as one our emotions tamed and sung.
So note it be.
Kanitu 6
Disputes arise from collisions of incompatible story-ideas.
Weave through the weeds of each contention,
seek the root and unveil its truth, release the tension,
listen without speech, speak without rancor,
Many roots intertwine, that commonality
is the soil to grow resolutions, healing, understanding.
So note it be.
Kanitu 7
How does one listen? The breath expels sound
filaments of nuance vibrate our eardrums
signals pulse to our brain, stories written into light
soak the story in light-pathways, forging connections
silence distills light to thought to signals,
speak mindfully with candor, embrace the present.
Listen a verb, a moment carved out of spacetime.
So note it be.
Kanitu 8
Life exists in forms, shapes, the limits of boundaries.
So too must the emotional landscape hold edges,
To be open to all means drowned by all,
To limit exposure, to craft boundaries, distills
the world into comprehensible moments and stories
that unveil truth and provide sustenance for growth.
So note it be.
Kanitu 9
Each step taken, each breath we release and hold,
We swirl closer to our resilient, resonant souls.
For when our environment is healthy so are we,
Each flower, tree, star, cloud we see
Interdependent, intertwined with us.
A reminder of our collective need to trust.
So smell the flowers, listen to the birds' calls
Let us hold space for love, break down our walls.
So note it be.
Kanitu 10
Love, the fifth force, wields connectivity, relation, cooperation.
Electromagnetism, the fourth force, carries leptons, attraction, repulsion.
Quantum Nuclear, the third force, monitors atoms, molecules, bonds.
Strong Nuclear, the second force, joins particles into integral songs.
Gravity, the first force, weaves spacetime and all within into being.
So note it be.
Kanitu 11
Cultivate relationships with the planet - its foliage and fauna
We thrive together as one, sharing and thriving in abundance,
Along and isolated, we shrivel and die, lost and forgotten.
We but a piece in the web that spans a planet,
And so trees grow, fungi blossom, we birth and die.
Our relations is the planet. Our relations is life.
So note it be.
Kanitu 12
To tear down, first must raise up.
To strengthen, first must be weak.
To shrink, first must be stretched.
To take, first must be given.
To grow, first must be planted.
Kindness overtakes aggression.
So Note it be.
Kanitu 13
Kindness begets kindness, like a seed nurtured
Water one's growth, offer to others
build up community, thus kindness lays
the stones for the edifice of justice.
So Note it be.
Kanitu 14
Rage fuels the fire of rebirth
As fuel, properly kindled and mediated
Rage transforms oppression to justice
Rage unfocused burns all to shreds
Harm explodes like a bomb cast instead
Rage focused like a narrow light
Sparks the kindle, flames warm the fight
Remade anew into justice so true.
So note it be.
Kanitu 15
From Birth, we arise into being
Yet Birth necessitates death,
from being into non-being,
from non-being into being.
Birth-death-rebirth.
We return as we are birthed.
So note it be.
