Nróónneme

Nróónneme is a medical profession. They are generally assistants to siún, who are more specialized in a specific medical category. Both of these professions deal primarily with caring for patients. They're the outward facing professions in the medical community. This is in contrast to üqibe, who are the researchers that study medical topics and various minerals and chemicals in the environment to produce safer and more healing alternatives.

Necessary Skills

  • Midwifery
  • First Aid -- such as wound care, setting broken bones, reflex tests, etc.
  • Resuscitation and techniques to dislodge items preventing breathing
  • Knowledge of safe medicines for a wide range of common illnesses
  • Careside -- the act of empathy and good listening practices when working with patients
  • Taking Vitals and recording them properly
  • Knowledge of known medical terminology and how to interpret for patients
  • IV lines and injections
  • Bathing bed-bound patients
  • Assisting siún in surgeries and other medical procedures

Education

Typically education up to Siteakin Q.2 and one apprenticeship is required before applying for a medical license for countries in the Elivera Federation. For countries outside of it, a medical license is not used. Instead, they are apprenticed to the community's nróónneme for at least two years before formally starting their own practice.
