Session 2.41

With only 3 days before the start of the Summit of Nations the party finds themselves amidst a handful of errands. Most recently the group had visited and spent a majority of the day with the United Goliath Tribe. There Rhorn and Zhorn had successfully met with the Kindred spirits of Arukan, Arzak, and their companion Stormy. After hours of eating, drinking, and exchanging stories of political hopes and dreams, Priestess and Fannti had returned with information of a bust involving the burglaries. Wanting to investigate it further, but not wanting to risk any negative attention prior to the Summit, Zhorn had decided to let two Tempest Troopers investigate.

With no real concrete plans for the remainder of the day the party decided to head to the Bayside District to explore the city. On their way a patrol of Emerald Cloaks and three apprehended figures chained together, had attracted their attention. The group decided to follow them because

1. They wanted to confirm that the apprehended individuals were indeed involved with the thefts- If they were, to try to get more information from them- Wanted to be certain that the Emerald Cloaks that were tasked with escorting the individuals were not in the employ of or members of the thieves themselves.

After a few minutes the procession finally stopped at another Emerald Cloak office, and Fannti and Zhorn followed behind to ask some questions. However, while speaking with a clerk, Zhorn lost his train of thought, suddenly overcome by a curious fixation with exotic meats, and instead asked if the city had somewhere he could procure such meats.

Meanwhile Rhorn and Priestess were spotted by Mayor Goldemane who invited the party to hang out with him and the other Mayors of Central Iberrios for a night of fun and relaxation at a tavern they frequently visit called the Velvet Anchor. Priestess and Fannti had decided to take him up on his offer while Rhorn and Zhorn decided to take a detour and check out The Works district where the exotic meat shop was located. Along the way Rhorn had located a handful of ship builders who specialized in the construction of naval warships. Rhorn extended an invite to the Amethyst Isle to these workers, however, ultimately asked for a rain check when it came to the discussion of wages. Afterwards the two goliaths headed deeper into the District for a specialty shop called Exotica Carnivora, where Zhorn was provided information on a satellite shop in Federation Territory that catered Zhorn’s unique appetite. Eventually the night concluded with Zhorn, Arukan, and two tempest troopers heading to Silken Embrace for a night of pleasure, while Rhorn joined in the drinking with Fannti, Priestess, and the other mayors.
