Session 2.40

With only a few days left until the Summit of Nations the party was attempting to network around the city of Greenstone. However, most recently they found themselves part of a heist that resulted in civilian’s personal belongings being stolen. After tracking down and disposing of some of the suspected culprits the party returned to the Villa where waiting for them was a familiar face, Lord Greenleaf of Faerun, whom the party had saved from The Reach.   He had requested an audience with the group where he presented all the information his network of spies has been gathering about what they suspect is a possible attack during the Summit of Nations. The information he shared seemed a little too scattered to have any specifics to build upon, but the elven spy was certain something was going to happen, which is why he came out of his hiding to personally present his network’s findings. At the conclusion of the meeting, Lord Greenleaf notified the party that he would remain in the city to see this through, and to message him with any questions or updates.   The following day the group finally had the opportunity to go visit the Goliath delegation also seeking recognition into nationhood during the Summit. Upon arriving they were met by the Goliath,Aurkan(aka Bear Warrior), who to the surprise of the party, greeted Rhorn and Zhorn with a big smile, and an even bigger embrace after seeing fellow kinsman so far south of the Mountains. He led the group into their modest accommodations and introduced the group to the leader of the United Goliath Tribe(UGT), who also happened to be his older brother Arzak(Mountain Heart) as well as their companion, a dire wolf named Stormy. The group spent half the day with the Goliaths, as Fannti prepared a bbq of Mountain Elk. This time was spent exchanging stories, as well as political motives, and their plans for their nations should they be recognized. Interestingly, Arzak had divulged that he and his people were receiving strong backings from the nations of the Federation, and were overall pretty optimistic about their prospects.   This meeting was punctuated with a two man brawl between the Goliath brothers, where Rhorn and Zhorn emerged victorious. During the brawl Stormy, who had taken a liking to the Priestess, was able to track an Emerald Cloak guard who was transporting the stolen goods to their office in the district. Fannti and Priestess reported to the office to officially claim her stuff, and discovered that there was a bust down in the Bayside District where they apprehended a few suspects who were in possession of the missing items. Fannti, Priestess, and Stormy decided to return to their friends.
