At the end of the War of Titans, when four powerful artifacts were used to stop the titans, a release of magical energy killed the invaders, stabilized the magic of Smiltis, and restored the memories of the gods, allowing them to see large areas of Smiltis that they previously had not been able to think about, control, or benefit from.
