Flashgrass
More of a weed than a grass, the plant can be used to cause minor hallucinations and relaxes anyone who ingests it. The plant can also be smoked, but is more effective when chewed since it burns extremely quickly (hence its name). The drug is illegal in Stormhaven and all of Cirris, but it grows naturally in the Hakao Forest, making it harder to enforce there.
Basic Information
Anatomy
The plant is a yellow-green with white flowers. Its large leaves have the highest concentration of the drug, though it can be found throughout the plant. The plant lays flat on the ground, with its thin leaves splaying outwards about seven inches. The five inch flower grows centrally out of the rest of the flashgrass.
Genetics and Reproduction
The flower turns into several hundred strawberry sized seeds during Stano which are usually carried a few feet away by wind, creating dense clusters.
Growth Rate & Stages
The grass grows from Pull to Zedrec, blooming in Stano and dying after a few cold snaps. After the flower blooms and goes to seed is the best time to harvest it as the drug is most potent then.
Ecology and Habitats
Hakao Forest is the most common place to find the grass, but farmers plant it in Zetia as a cash crop (Hazra is too warm to farm it large scale).

All parts of the plant are used as a hallucinogenic and relaxation drug, though the leaves are the strongest and generally the only part sold.
