United Postal Guild

The United Postal Guild is a continent-wide organization on Raygon, officially adopted by all current kingdoms. It was created to unify mail delivery and communication systems across borders, ensuring that letters, parcels, and information can travel swiftly between distant lands.   The Guild serves as the backbone of interkingdom correspondence, connecting nobles, merchants, scholars, and common citizens alike. Its mission is simple: to make communication accessible and reliable across the entire continent.

Culture

Uniforms

All Guild members, regardless of their home kingdom, wear the same distinctive uniform for easy identification:   Pants: Dark gray with a deep blue stripe running down each leg.   Messenger Bag: A bag of holding enchanted for postal use. It is yellow, bearing the Guild’s crest alongside the insignia of the courier’s home kingdom.   Vest: Deep blue with light gray trim, worn over a white shirt.   Bow Tie: Any color or style permitted, but its inclusion is mandatory as a mark of rank and tradition.   Boots: Durable gray leather, weatherproofed for long travel.     This uniform symbolizes unity and professionalism across all kingdoms, allowing citizens to instantly recognize an official courier of the Guild.

Symbol

The Guild’s emblem depicts a gray griffin carrying four stacked parcels and holding a blue envelope in its beak. The griffin represents strength, loyalty, and swiftness the core virtues of the postal trade while the blue parcels and envelope signify trust and clarity in communication.

Public Agenda

The Guild’s purpose is to coordinate and standardize postal services throughout Raygon. Each kingdom maintains its own Mail Guild, but all operate under the shared banner of the United Postal Guild, following common codes, routes, and magical standards for delivery.   Through this network, couriers and postmasters can operate freely between borders, allowing even the most remote settlements to stay in touch with the wider world.

History

The United Postal Guild was born from cooperation between the adventuring guilds, kingdom governments, and the growing influence of continental trade during the age when trains were first invented and adopted across Raygon.   As rail lines connected major cities and borders for the first time, a new problem emerged communication. Each kingdom had its own postal system, with conflicting methods, symbols, and regulations, making it difficult for messages, goods, and official documents to travel reliably across borders.   Recognizing this, the kingdoms of Wuix Kingdom, Kingdom of Harmony, Saint Oxford, United Realms, and BONE PEARL TRIBES began discussions with the major adventuring guilds. These guilds already had treaties allowing their members to work freely across territories, and they saw the same potential for cooperation in communication and transport.   Together, they drafted an agreement to form a unified postal service, one that could cross borders as freely as the adventurers and merchants already did. The railways became the backbone of this new system, linking cities and nations more efficiently than ever before.   Over time, more kingdoms joined the network, adopting the Guild’s uniform, training standards, and postal codes. While regional differences remain due to culture and geography, the United Postal Guild stands as one of the most successful multi-kingdom institutions on the continent proof that cooperation and shared purpose can bridge even the widest divides.
