Shou the Avatar of will

(a.k.a. Part Theft, The original camera)

There are many stories about Shou, the enigmatic Avatar of Will. Said to have taken many forms over time, there is only one consistent feature across every tale—Shou always has four eyes top blue right green left yellow bottom purple.

During the Golden Age of the deities, Shou was known to roam the world, offering guidance and sharing powerful revelations with those he deemed worthy. He was both a herald and a mentor, showing mortals the path of Maindo, the God of Will.

However, being an embodiment of willpower and intellect, Shou eventually began pushing beyond the bounds of even divine instruction. His insatiable hunger for knowledge led him down a path of isolation. For centuries—perhaps even millennia—no one has seen or heard from him.

Rumors abound. Some say he seeks to become as powerful as the gods themselves. Others believe he has transcended this reality and entered the Metaphysical Realm to uncover forbidden truths. A few whisper that he was captured—or even destroyed—either by corrupted deities or rogue followers of Maindo who sought to exploit his power.

The truth remains a mystery. But one thing is certain: if Shou still exists, he is no longer just an avatar. He is something far more.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Maindo created his avatar, Shou, by imbuing a fragment of his divine Will with the purpose of learning in new, unstructured ways. Shou was gifted with the power to absorb and comprehend all forms of knowledge and existence. His duties included offering guidance, granting blessings, and assisting mortals in their intellectual breakthroughs. All was well—until the War of Ascendancy.

During that time, Maindo, preoccupied with greater divine matters, told Shou he was free to do as he pleased. Shou took this as abandonment—a dismissal of his purpose and worth. What he didn’t realize was that Maindo was testing him, hoping to see how his avatar would grow when untethered from divine oversight.

Maindo had already given Shou all the knowledge he could in that form. Now he wanted to see what Shou would become on his own.

The result? Shou seeks to surpass his creator—to become something more. He no longer wishes to serve. Instead, he seeks to take the mantle for himself and rise as the new God of Will.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Shou’s true identity and preferences are a mystery—even he claims that both he and Maindo may have forgotten. He shifts forms constantly, taking on new traits and properties with every discovery. His body can resemble anything: animal, beast, monster, man, woman, or any known species. Shou can even take the shape of beings that don’t exist—or that exist only in the Metaverse or just combine whatever he wants and be the chimera that he is known for.

Special abilities

Shou possesses the ability to wield nearly every known kind of power, and unique abilities tied to the Element of Will. His power is vast, but two abilities in particular stand out:

1. Chimera Assimilation

Shou’s primary and most iconic ability is the power to absorb any form of life—be it plant, animal, beast, or sentient being—and integrate aspects of them into his own body. Through this, he can alter his form at will, becoming anything from a floating entity of shifting mass to a simple rabbit. He is widely considered the first true Chimera.

He can absorb both living and dead creatures, though absorbing the living is significantly more taxing—especially if the target resists. The process grants him access to their physical traits, abilities, and sometimes even fragments of their memory or instinct.

2. Constructed Clones

Due to the countless forms and biological structures he has absorbed, Shou has the ability to pre-build clones from different body parts and essences stored within him. These clones can take on any appearance he chooses—perfect mimics, monstrous hybrids, or even completely original designs. He can implant a fragment of his mind into them, create an entirely new consciousness, or even form drones with no will of their own.   Regardless of their cognitive makeup, all clones remain under Shou’s absolute control. They are extensions of his will, capable of independent action but tethered to his commands and intent.

Mental characteristics

Education

Shou began with vast knowledge granted by Mondu and expanded it further by absorbing countless creatures, gaining their insights, experiences, and memories. along with gaining knowledge is from followers of Mondu themselves when he was providing them divine inspiration.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Shou’s ultimate motivation is to obtain all power—across the physical and metaphysical realms—and ascend as the new God of Will. He believes that if he can possess every fragment of existence, every idea, and every form of knowledge, then he will embody Will itself and claim divinity by right.
