Reading Challenge 2025
Summer camp was interesting this year; however, I did not have A Fest (anime con) at the end of the month as usual because it is no longer around. So I had plenty of time to work on all 40 props, complete them, and do Camp Ferrell this year. Because by the end of it, I'm normally rushed and mentally weary trying to get don before con. Well, I wasn't feeling rush, but I was still mentally fatigued, so 34 prompts is my limit till I feel like my brain is ready to go and do somthing else like Video Games. This summer camp is also difficult because I had a lot of prompts this year that were outside of my regular thinking, but I love them and thank you for pushing me outside of my comfort zone to come up with new and different ideas for everyone. It was daunting, but also fun as always. I even forced myself to sketch up and draw some of the props, so thank you to everyone who supported me, including my friends and family, for helping me get through it, as well as World Anvil and the entire community for hosting this event and supporting one another. I hope everyone had fun summer camp.
Here are the articles I read before submitting this to the competition; each one is unique and captivating. There are so many that have been done, and I want to read them, but my brain just does not want to read, so I'm sorry. I'd love to read more, and I'll most likely read more in the coming months, if not longer, as well as find random articles to read about. So have a look at the ones I did because they all have a good take on the prompts and interesting things. One thing I did realize, though, is a lot of people in the symbio category like to do parasites there. I think that was a thing, but yeah, it's an interesting way to do it, and there are several like red that aren't here, and I'm sorry, I just have ADHD, and my head's going everywhere right now since I had to focus last month to get done. You know my head doesn't want to sit still, but do you have a look at the list below? And everyone did amazing. I can't believe, like, every pro
My primary aims for the next six months are to continue working on Elema as my main world. That will need me to either write my story at least once a week or, if I encounter a problem or something I haven't produced yet, create it before continuing the story. In addition, I will learn how to use Anvil's book creation. The other thing is that I am running a campaign in it, so I will keep up with this tale there as well as design and make whatever that my players come up with or that the story requires, so that my players may have fun and have a unique environment in which to play.
Now I'm thinking about constructing multiple little mini-worlds for myself, designing characters with different systems, some of which will have similar IP attributes. Marvel, Cyberpunk, Shadowrun, and other will be full be create my own worlds use the systems traveler Big,eyes, Small, Mouth and other. I want to develop mini worlds and tell stories with these people so that I can have different worlds to play in if I ever run a game with them. We'll also most likely use chat gpt to help run the stories and games. Probably turning the episode or episode or monster of the week kind scenario was just so I can construct the plot and build up the worlds. This will be more of a side project than anything else, but I've already started working on the characters. So far, I have six ideas, some old and some new.
Now, I have certain personal goals. I think , I should quit being just a creative sorcerer and tried to study coding; my brain still hates the notion, but I've seen so many beautiful world layouts that I want to design my own. I also need to grasp using the story creator in World Anvil, as previously stated, and I absolutely need to undertake artificial challenges because they're fun and intriguing to see what people come up with; maybe I'll even run one myself. So there are my wants and aspirations, and they will probably continue after the six-month mark.
