Lunaviel has a delightfully moderate environment for most of the year, with temperatures ranging from 60 to 75 degrees. The cold ocean air that blows in from the coast provides a pleasant chill at night time, ideal for cuddling beside a bonfire or wandering the promenades in light clothing.

Rainfall is infrequent, and the city rarely faces the scorching heat prevalent in the interior regions. Even in the summer, the heat feels gentle and radiant, rather than suffocating.

The only serious hazard occurs on overcast days, when cloud-filtered light bounces off both the sea and the white dunes, resulting in a double glare.
