The Hollow Beast Collar is a cruel, arcane device designed to suppress the essence of a druid. Once fastened around their neck, it weaken their connection to their Divine Sprit Guardian and disrupts their bond with nature's many forms.
In the short term, this collar prevents shapeshifting entirely. The druid no longer recalls what it feels like to run as a cheetah, soar as a hawk, or swim as a seal. The muscle memory fades, and with it, the spark of transformation. Even attempts to shift become hollow gestures, met with confusion and emptiness. Their connection to the Circle and to their spiritual guardian is weakened faint, distant, almost forgotten. Most describe it as feeling abandoned by the very wilds that once embraced them.
But the long term effects are far more harrowing.
