Eagle Eye
Alright, my caster friends and ranged artillery masters this one’s for you! Eagle Eyes grants you vision like our majestic avian allies, the Griffins... though, of course, it’s named after the mighty eagle from which it was inspired.
With this spell, your sight sharpens to incredible precision, allowing you to zoom in and see vast distances as if the world itself were brought closer. Perfect for long-range spellcasters and sharpshooters who demand accuracy at extreme ranges.
But take heed just because you can see far doesn’t mean you’ll instantly know every trajectory or angle. Mastery still takes practice!
It’s also a favorite among spies and scouts those hired for jobs where staying unseen is key, yet every detail must be observed. I even know a wizard who used this spell mid-flight to hunt down a pesky cat and locate a missing relic.
So use Eagle Eyes wisely, my friends because once you’ve seen the world in such clarity, what you see cannot be unseen.
Effect
Eagle eye creates a magical sensor directly above you. The sensor can appear anywhere above you, to a maximum height equal to the spell's range. You can see from this vantage as if you were actually there, rotating your viewpoint 360 degrees. You perceive with your normal visual senses. A caster using eagle eye can easily see for a considerable distance. The spell does not penetrate any solid surface, although it is unaffected by foliage and the like.
Side Effects
Has been known to cause dizziness, space awareness slightly off, and upset stomachs. When first trying to get used to it
