History
Age of Light
It is nearly impossible to pin down the first creator of Stardew Mead, since there were so many variations of the drink found during the early centuries of the First Age of Light. Due to the possibility of water contamination and the simplicity of the drink, many Elves used it as a safer alternative to water, particularly in newer settlements. Throughout the Age, this drink followed several other trends, with elves experimenting with it by combining it with forest blossoms, delicate herbs, and various types of berries to create new and complex flavor profiles.
Popular Examples Included:
- Misty-Sweet Strawberry
- Moonberry Mead
- Sun-Kissed Raspberry Nectar
Age of Restoration
During the third age, the advent of using water elementals to purify water sources lessened the need to find alternatives; however, Stardew Mead continued to be a very popular drink and remains regularly served across the valley.
