Elven Blood

During the Great Storm, it was reported that the Fallen had laid siege to a small Elven town in the north and drained each of them of their blood to empower their own war machine. Through the duration of the conflict, Elves were captured and had their blood used for nefarious ends. Some versions state that it was to create new monsters, while others claim that it empowered his troops, granting them additional abilities. Either way, a consistent component was that the Fallen and his troops would drink the blood of these elves to gain this effect.

There is evidence before the Great Storm that the Fallen was experimenting on anything he could find. Throughout the 1,500-year conflict, the Fallen and his top clerics continued these experiments and found a way to use Elven blood to heal and empower their troops with limited success.

This spread throughout the central continent during the time of the Storm as the war continued to spread. Many refugees would tell the tales they had heard as they moved further east away from the frontlines, further spreading the tale.

There are dozens of variations of this tale. The version told by the Askellion Calvary was that the Fallen used Elven Blood to turn regular Orcs into terrifying Oni. Others held that he was using it to bolster himself for the conflict with his siblings. Due to the fear among those telling the version and the lack of solid information, speculation was rampant, creating hundreds of variations of what he was doing with the blood.

It was one of the examples of the fear throughout the central continent during the conflict, and it is remembered to showcase the dark deeds of the Fallen and the unease he caused, even 10,000 years later.
