Blaize
Blaize is the 'pet' fire elemental that lives in the Mauricears Smithing Shop.
Physical Description
Body Features
Blaize, like any fire elemental, is best described as an amorphous mass of fire that ebbs and flows much as an open flame would. His body has a core that shines with a reddish-white, particularly when his attention is drawn.
Special abilities
As a fire elemental, Blaize constantly emits fire. This has allowed him to keep the forge at Mauricears lit for over 1,000 years at least.

Personal history
Creation
Blaize manifested in the heat of a hot spring north of Mauribon, one of several that have manifested from that particular spring. It is unknown how long he was in existence before the Maucear family discovered him.
Transportation
Aenlon Maucear, the patriarch of the family, sought out a fire elemental to heat his family's forge, much like Elven smiths have done for eons. At this point, Blaize was one of dozens of fire elementals that were manifested in the area and accepted being moved by the young elf.
Life at Mauricears
The Fire Elemental was named 'Blaize' by Aenlon's wife, Gara, as he was being put into his new home. The Elemental accepted the new house and happily fed off the flames produced by the forge while the generations of weaponsmiths toiled at the forge. As the shop became more established, Aenlon established a thick glass window that allowed Blaize to view out, and allowed children to view into his enclosure.
By the modern era, Children have adored waving at the fire element, who lights up when they get his attention.
