The Trophymaker

Lord Jírån Etjurtağ, the Prolific

History does not look favourably upon the one who was known as the "Trophymaker".   Vuroldoch Vurolkail, or Jírån Etjurtağ (as he was known in Norëthir) was one of the many Raiding Lords who left Norëthir during the middle years of the Epoch of Recovery in search of dominion, wealth, and women to take back to the homeland. But of the Raiding Lords, Vurokail is remembered as being one of the worst among them.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

The man known as Vurokail, Jíran Etjurtağ, was a towering and intimidating man, and he knew it. A human-elf cross who looked more man than elf, he had strength superior to a comparable man on similar height and build. With medium-length black hair that was often tied back and a matching moustache and beard, he was the picture of a legendary dark lord that was often spoke of in bedtime stories.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Vurokail was born to an elven slave who belonged to his father, whose name was lost to history. As soon as he was born, his mother tried to escape with him despite how weak she still was from the labour. She made it deep into the woods that made up most of his father's estate, but soon grew too tired to keep going and collapsed into the snow covering the ground.   With there being snow on the ground, his father was able to follow her footsteps until he caught up with her. He took him from her shaking arms before he killed her and left her body there.   He was raised under his father's strict supervision and was tutored in a way that encouraged ferocity, verocity, and an almost singular focus on himself. He was praised for competing with his myriad of siblings whom were all fully human—something that came easy to him when they all showed open distain for him because of his mixed blood.   Despite that same mixed blood, he grew up to become one of his father's favourites, especially when it turned out that he would be far taller than the average of six feet by the time he was fully grown.   When he finally became a man, after weeks of proving before his coming-of-age ceremony, he decided to follow in the Raiding Lords' footsteps and decide to leave the bounds of Norëthir for longer than the average young man in search of a woman. On his massive warhorse with its thickly-feathered hooves, he road out through the secret passages known only to the Norëthiri and joined one of the established Raiding Lords, the one that had taken on the task of bringing the Mountain Kingdom (name subject to change) to its knees: The Mountainbreaker (Kälrammo Käntúma).   He served under the Mountainbreaker for years, and together they raided and pillaged the Mountain Kingdom repeatedly until it collapsed and faded into history. This is where he earned his reputation and the name "Vuroldoch Vurolkail"—the dark jewel tribunal, and taker of women.   Eventually, Vurolkail splits away from the Mountainbreaker with the men who grew loyal to him, desiring to be a leader and forge his own trail and claim land for his own without being ordered by someone else. Under the Mountainbreaker, he was held somewhat in check, but once he left...   He remembered what his father had taught him. He was even more merciless than he had been under the Mountainbreaker once he no longer being supervised.   Records of what happened after this cannot seem to agree on what he did or in what order he did them. But with thorough study, it can be deduced that Vurokail began to rampage eastward towards the center of the continent. Many towns, settlements, and farms are wiped from the face of history, and many, many women are captured and forced into his harem.   He was utterly unstoppable and no kingdom was big enough or close enough to come and stop him. He gained the title "The Trophymaker" because he did just that—he collected land, he collected things, he collected people; offspring. By the time of his death, it was said that he had amassed an army of ten thousand, much of it being comprised of his offspring and their offspring, and it was said that he had managed to bed thousands of women, whether they were willing or not. The size of his harem was nauseating.

Accomplishments & Achievements

  • Aided in destroying the Mountain Kingdom.
  • Conquered around one thousand square kilometers of land and shaped it how he wanted.
  • Earned the title of "Trophymaker" by his insatiable appetite for pillaging, sacking, destroying and collecting both inanimate objects and women.
  • Was said to have garnered an army of ten thousand men by the time of his death, and that many of his children were in that army.
  • Scholars studying the Raiding Lords believe that he had a harem of at least a thousand women, most of whom had red or black hair and green eyes (which he was extremely partial to).

Failures & Embarrassments

  • Was killed by one of his "wives", rumoured to be his "cupbearer".
  • Some of his sons were as ambitious as he was, and he often had to deal with coups where they tried to have him killed so that they could take his place. They never tried to work together, so they never succeeded.
  • None of his daughters grew up to be "particularily beautiful" (as he put it), so he was never able to use them to expand his influence through marriage (it was never their looks that chased potential suitors away, but his reputation, as most of his daughters were quite beautiful due to their elven heritage).

Morality & Philosophy

Vurokail has to be one of the most immoral people to ever walk upon the surface of Eldûra. He cared for no one but himself, not even his spawn or the countless women who he kept confined to the harem. All he thought about was how to earn more prestige, how to inflict fear on others, and how to satisfy his unceasing sexual hunger.
