Minotera

Minotera, a sprawling metropolis, is divided by a grimy river into two starkly contrasting halves—Hefel and Bingtown. The city's bustling activity and stark disparities make it a vibrant yet challenging environment for those who navigate its diverse districts.   Hefel (High Side): The high side of the river, known as Hefel, exudes opulence and prosperity. White cobbled streets wind through a cityscape of clean, well-maintained buildings. Hefel is a hub of bustling trade, with marketplaces that overflow with exotic goods and rare finds. Noble estates line the avenues, showcasing the wealth and influence of the city's elite. The atmosphere is one of affluence, culture, and civilzation.   Bingtown (Low Side): On the opposite bank lies Bingtown, a stark contrast to the elegance of Hefel. This low side of the river is a congested slum, characterized by overpopulation, dilapidated structures, and a palpable air of desperation. Narrow, winding alleyways are teeming with the hustle and bustle of people struggling to survive. Crime is rampant, and the scent of decay hangs in the air. The river docks, essential for trade, are situated in Bingtown, bringing a constant flow of goods and people into the underbelly of Minotera.   The filthy river serves as both a physical and symbolic divide. A precarious ~20-foot shelf runs along one side, making the river a visible, tangible separator between the city's two faces. Merchandise is transported across the river using lifts.
