Tony Van Ross

Tony is a young Tabaxi of the less widely known now, but former great lineage of Van Ross. Known for their great pride and strength as warriors.    His fur is a rich golden-orange with distinct black stripes that frame his expressive amber eyes. He is small and lithe, with a mixture of innocence and determination in his gaze. Despite his youth, his agile movements and the sharpness in his eyes hint at his potential for agility and combat prowess.   His father, Kieran Van Ross, was a personal servant to the powerful and malevolent wizard Uthryn Baelor. Tony, too, was forced into servitude under the cruel rule of Baelor. Life in the Forsaken Burrow was harsh and unforgiving, and the burden of servitude weighed heavily on them both.   One fateful day, Kieran saw a fleeting opportunity to allow his son to escape the clutches of their oppressors and seized it, ensuring Tony's safety at the cost of his own life. With his father's sacrifice weighing heavily on him, Tony found himself not truly free but constantly on the run. He was actively pursued by Sylara, a Drow apprentice of Baelor, and her Drow Vanguard, making his journey one of constant vigilance and fear. Despite this, he has since joined the party, hoping to find a way to honor his father's legacy and help liberate his people from the tyranny of the Drow.   Tony now finds himself under the tutelage of Taldric Greymane. A reborn Goliath that was a former Anvil Warden for the Forge Union who has picked up a new oath to protect and conquer for the Veiled Orchid Society. Tony has proven himself to be proficient with the use of daggers thus far in his training.    What awaits him in the future, only time will tell.
