General Summary
- The party awoke from their long rest and discussed with Korvus and Sheng Ha on what was next for everyone.
- Sheng Ha is going to the Aetherium Spire so she can move around faster.
- Jade wants to train Tony in the art of combat. Taldric has a slight problem with that, lol.
- Korvus travels with the party as they head back to Eldertree Haven
- On their way back on the 6th day of travel. The party comes across 3 cloaked figures each with unique and intracately carved masks all of them resembling different flowers.
- Two of them having small frames and another sharing a build like that of Taldric's. (Calling them 1, 2, and 3 for the time being. 1 being the tall one.)
- They stand before the party and talk with them about returning to the Haven in secrecy under the orders of Madam Blaze who has been worried about the party since Seraphina has been losing her information network slowly but surely.
- One tosses Hearth a spell scroll of Disguise Self.
- Korvus was told to split from the group once the party was closer to the Haven as he was not part of the party.
- After getting close to the Haven the party entered into a tunnel system and after a bit of walking through the tunnel began twisting and shifting into a jet black hallway with tendrils climbing up and down the walls.
- Opening into a circular arena-esque room, the party is greeted by Madam Blaze who informs the party of what has been going on with Seraphina and the Haven while they've been gone.
- Blaze wishes to bring the party into the Veiled Orchid Society to provide further protection and resources.
- She mentions trying to gain an audience with the top leaders of the Eldertree.
- The party informs Blaze of everything that happened as she tosses Hearth his missing hand informing the party that she saw the Tiefling walking into town with it and proceeded to pummel whatever life was left in him out.
- The Tiefling is now in the main infirmary in the Eldertree itself.
- The party was then thrown through a series of trials where they fought alternate reality shadow versions of themselves.
- The party swiftly took out their counterparts with a vengance.
- Afterwards the party each revealed something about themselves and their past to deepen their trust with not only each other, but Madam Blaze and the orginization.
- The party then each gave up an item of importance or swore an oath to protect the Eldertree Haven and ultimately the world from threats thus inducting them into the Veiled Orchid Society.
- Each party member was handed a mask and a cloak and was told there was a meeting in one week under the waterfall, and their attendance was expected.
- Blaze bid them farewell, but not before telling Hearth to stop by the Dancing Blaze to see her about training. Something about "Us of infernal nature share something unique."
- The party then went about trying to sell their resources and shopping accordingly.
- The session ended with Daggoss about to get a barrier tattoo from Astral Seeker, the Gnome librarian from the Starshade Observatory, and Hearth just leaving the Dancing Blaze after immediately trying to go see Blaze after she just dismissed the party. Epic win Jeremy, epic win.
