A familiar face came to the party on their night of rest at Serpent's Veil Lake.
A ranger/rogue Tiefling who never gave his name to the party nor did they ask for it.
He mentioned that he didn't want to see this particular client have their way and struck a deal with the party: Allow him to take one of Hearth's attuned hands and beat him up to make it look convincing.
The party took this deal and sent him on his way.
