Calrith was born beneath a rare blood moon in the ancient forest of Ashenfall, a place where the trees whispered old magic and stars watched like silent guardians. His birth was supposed to be a blessing, but instead, it came with tragedy. his mother died giving birth to him, and from that moment, people believed that he was cursed.

His father, a respected warrior, trained Calrith to fight from a young age. Their bond was strong, but always clouded by sorrow. Calrith grew up trying to prove he was more than the shadow of a prophecy

His little sister was a priestess of the elvish god of healing, Naralis Analor. By following him wearing the special necklace passed down through generations of her family she gained an other worldly ability, healing.

When Calrith was sixteen, dark forces invaded Ashenfall. Creatures twisted by forbidden magic burned villages and tore apart everything in their path. Calrith joined the fight and helped push them back. But when he returned to his home, it was already destroyed. His village, his friends, and his younger sister were all gone. All that remained was her necklace, half-buried in ashes along with his fathers sword and his mothers old staff.

The people blamed him for not being there. They said the prophecy had come true. Heartbroken, Calrith left Ashenfall with nothing but his sword, staff, and the weight of everything he lost.

Now he wanders from town to town, protecting those who can’t protect themselves. He doesn’t care about fame or praise. He just wants to make things right, even if he never truly can. They call him the Blade of Ashenfall, but to him, it’s just a reminder of everything he couldn’t save.
