Heriot's Haunted House
Overview
The first raid to occur in a house rather than a dungeon or cave, Heriot's Haunted House features a challenging, tight quarters layout with patrols, social calls from mobs that could generate zone-wiping adds, secret passages (one way walls), monsters emerging from paintings, and numerous traps. At initial launch, there were few pieces of gear that provided adequate light, which caused characters without enhanced vision to struggle greatly. This was less of a problem over time, as light-generating gear became more common.
The lore behind the mansion centers around Lord Dorian Nahl Heriot, a wealthy half-alv who became a vampire lord. To prevent him from threatening the local Landers and building up even more power by binding more undead to his will, the adventurers must launch their attack on his notorious home.
Notable Monsters
Lord Dorian Nahl Heriot (raid boss, vampire lord, undead)
Morse - Hound of Heriot (raid boss, demonic hound)
Vampire Lady (undead)
Vampire Noble (undead)
