Volram
Volram is the beating industrial heart of the Jadeheart Kingdom, a city curled around the roots of the northern mountains. From sunrise to sunset (and well beyond), the clang of pickaxes and the low rumble of carts fill the mountain air. Volram's economy revolves around its vast mining operations, including iron, silver, and jade veins, as well as the rare volcanic gemstones hidden deep within the jagged peaks of Mount Vokhul. Volram is a place of grit, sweat, and steel, where politics take a backseat to production, and where the mountain’s bounty is king.
Government
Volram is led by the Deepmarshal, currently Deepmarshal Gralda Stonereach, a pragmatic and respected dwarf known for her strategic mind and insistence on fair labor conditions. She answers to the High King, but in practice, she’s given wide autonomy due to Volram’s economic importance.

Pickwall Quarter
The residential zone for miners and families, with communal hearths and strong neighborhood guild culture. Small shops and general stores dot the zone, providing for the locals.The Crucible

Volram sprawls out from the Mouth of Vokhul, a deep mine entrance that has slowly expanded into a wide cavernous hold. The outer city is a tangle of stone homes, smoke-belching foundries, ore elevators, and mechanical gear-lifts crisscrossing the terrain. The inner parts of Volram snake into the base of the mountain in a vast network of tunnels and industrial chambers.
