Thaloras

Thaloras is the god of hidden truths, balanced law, and unyielding logic. Depicted with a face split down the middle—half luminous scholar, half masked inquisitor—he embodies both benevolent wisdom and cold, unrelenting order.
He is worshiped by magistrates, mages, judges, and seekers of truth of all nations and creeds. His churches often double as archives, libraries, or judicial courts. His most devoted believers follow the “Five Petitions,” sacred arguments to resolve disputes without bloodshed.

Tenets of Faith

The Five Petitions are recited several times throughout the day by devout followers of Thaloras
  • The Petition of Clarity: Let the truth be unveiled, unburdened by bias or obfuscation. All facts, however inconvenient, must be laid bare.
  • The Petition of Balance: Let the scales of justice be held level, weighing intent and consequence with equal measure. For every right, a responsibility; for every claim, a counter-claim.
  • The Petition of Logic: Let reason guide our discourse, and emotion be set aside. Arguments must be sound, deductions undeniable, and conclusions inevitable.
  • The Petition of Precedent: Let the wisdom of the past illuminate the path forward. For in established law and resolved disputes, patterns of justice are revealed.
  • The Petition of Resolution: Let the final decree be just, binding, and accepted by all parties, for true order emerges from settled accord.
