Largusian Empire
The Largusian Empire is a sprawling imperial state that dominates the entire continent of Largus, from the icy northwestern mountains to the vast desert of the southeast. It is a realm of immense scale and complexity, housing countless cultures, cities, and peoples under a single imperial banner. Roads and railways stretch across vast plains and dense jungles, connecting snowy mountains to sunbaked deserts, and bustling metropolises to forgotten temples swallowed by time.
The Empire is as much an idea as it is a nation, built on the belief that unity under imperial rule brings order, progress, and civilization. Its banners fly in every city, its legions march through every province, and its language and coin bind distant peoples into a shared imperial identity.
Governed from the massive capital city of Vellakar in the province of Veglia, Largus is ruled by Emperor Æthelbrand the Magnificent and administered through a powerful bureaucracy of governors, diplomats, and hereditary lords. While its heartlands are wealthy and stable, the further one strays from the imperial core, the more fragile the illusion of unity becomes. Ancient rivalries, rebellious provinces, and feudal skirmishes simmer beneath the surface, held in check only by the empire's vast military and the ever-watchful eyes of its imperial agents.
In the world of Elaxios, the Largusian Empire is unmatched in scope, ambition, and influence. It is a titan whose every move echos across continents. Yet even titans are not immortal; whispers of unrest grow louder in the outer provinces, and some dream of independence.
