The Dark King

The sole reason for the fall of the The Ancient Elvish Empire and a figure of extreme power. The war against him and his followers was one that almost shattered the realm. It took the sacrifice of most of the Council of the Wise including Zabzoub the wise to summon the power of the divine goddess of magic to seal the dark king indefinitely.

Summary

There aren't many records of this being other than folklore myths and legends. It is said that he is the progeny of a vile and forbidden relationship between an elf and a dragon. His power eclipsed all of the elves as he developed both his Mana system and Ki system to an unprecedented level.   After gaining much popular support, he forced the Council of the Wise to wage war on the aloof dragons. Once the war started, the deaths accumulated by the tens of thousands. Corpses covered the land and blood formed rivers. This type of horror was something neither the dragons nor the elves had ever seen. Soon, he transformed from a hero to a machiavellian villain in the eyes of the public.   As such, the Council of the Wise and the elder dragons teamed up to ambush him. They almost all perished in their attempt. If not for the sacrifice of Zabzoub the wise and the other members of the council, all of the strongest known being at the time would have died at the hand of the dark king.

Historical Basis

The story of the dark king has been subject to myths and legends since times of old. However, there are no official records that document the events surrounding him. All of the crystals of knowledge were either destroyed or buried somewhere unknown.   One thing to note. The fall of the dark king has been an era changing event, to the point where the elves based their calendar for 153 years on the day of his fall.

Spread

The myth is widespread among the elves and is subject to research by scholar from all kind of races.
