The only survivor of the inciting incident.
Garras is a halfling trader just as his father had been and his father's father. It was a family tradition and he took the same route that his family always had. However, he had a dream of expanding his trade across the entire continent. Realizing that the situation between the Blessed Kingdom and Draxium is not sustainable, he and a small group of others decided to make an effort for peace before war broke out. Using messenger birds they were able to reach a group in Draxium who felt the same way and made a plan to meet up. However, this meeting ended in tragedy.
While Garras survived he was badly injured from the attack by King Thunder. He managed to make it to an Enforcer's guardpost where the Enforcers of Light rescued and cared for him. He told them everything that happened and escorted him to the capital to give his account to both the Council and the Holy Maiden Media herself. Since delivering his story he has remained in the capital at the Holy Maiden's insistence, living in the church under her care.

Education
Like all citizens of the Blessed Kingdom, he was educated by the church from the ages of 5-13. After 13 he apprenticed with his father to learn the ways of the trader. He is extremely gifted with math, which is necessary to keep track of his funds and goods.
Employment
He originally worked as a trader, but after the inciting incident he has been unemployed. According to the church, since his recovery from his injuries he has been too upset to return to his job so he is currently unemployed and the church is caring for his daily needs.
Mental Trauma
Was traumatized by the attack of King Thunder after participating in a group attempting to find a way to mend relations between the Blessed Kingdom and Draxium.
