Inherently magical creatures with incredibly long lifespans, dragons hoard not only wealth and material possessions, but servants, slaves, magic, and knowledge as well. Benevolent and malicious, kind and terrible, good and evil, ancient dragons of all types have motivations beyond comprehension to most mortal beings. Even beyond these most ancient of dragons are wyrms, greatwyrms, and the famed exalted archwyrms—powerful dragons blessed by the divine, diabolic, demonic, or some other unknowable force.
These powerful beings make pacts with mortals, granting them power in exchange for treasure—whether that treasure is physical, magical, or some other form is up to the individual exalted wyrm. Your pactmaster may already be an archwyrm or is using you to try to become one, siphoning some of you essence off each time you use its power.
Patron Spells
1st-Level Warlock (The Exalted Wyrm) Feature
You gain patron spells at the warlock levels listed. These spells do not count against your spells known.
Wyrm’s Blast
1st-Level Warlock (The Exalted Wyrm) Feature
When you cast your eldritch blast spell, you can choose to change the damage type to the same damage type chosen for your Draconic Spark. When you score a critical hit against a creature with your eldritch blast and deal the chosen damage type, that creature is frightened of your until the end of your next turn.
Draconic Spark
1st-Level Warlock (The Exalted Wyrm) Feature
Your draconic patron imbues you wish a draconic spark, a miniscule fraction of its overflowing elemental power. These powerful dragons can impart any element, but they most often bestow one that matches their breath weapon, and will never impart one that is the opposite of theirs, such as a red exalted wyrm granting cold. Choose either acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison for your Draconic Spark. Alternatively, you can choose the damage type of your Patron's Wrath damage type, as decided by your patron.
You gain resistance to that damage type of Draconic Spark, and any time you cast a warlock spell, you can choose for it to deal the damage type associated with your Draconic Spark.
Moreover, the magic of your Draconic Spark allows you to speak, read, and write High Draconic.
Pact Focus: Eldritch Claw
3rd-Level Warlock (The Exalted Wyrm) Feature
Dedicated to the Exalted Wyrm, you can select this option instead of one of the pact foci available to all warlocks when you gain the option to choose one at 3rd level.
Your patron gifts you a mote of their power that grafts itself upon your arm. One of your arms is transformed into a clawed hand befitting a powerful dragon. You can use this claw as a spellcasting focus and, as a bonus action whilst you are holding nothing in your clawed hand, you can manipulate an object, open an unlocked door or container, stow or retrieve an item from an open container, or pour the contents out of a vial so long as the object you’re interacting with is within 15 feet of you, weighs less than 10 pounds, and isn’t magical.
Additionally, as an action on your turn whilst the claws hand is holding nothing, you can use its power to hinder a creature you can see within 15 feet of you. The creature must make a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC, being grappled by you, pushed up to 10 feet away from you, or pulled 10 feet toward you (your choice) on a failure. The DC to escape this grapple is equal to your spell save DC. The grapple also ends if the creature is ever more than 15 feet away from you, or if you use the claw to grapple a different creature.
The claw is a simple melee weapon with which you are proficiency, dealing 1d6 slashing damage on a hit. It is considered to have the light and finesse properties.
If you lose the limb, you can conduct a 1-hour ritual to recreate it, which can be done as part of a short or long rest.
Elemental Potency
6th-Level Warlock (The Exalted Wyrm) Feature
Your Draconic Spark increases the potency of your magic. When you cast a warlock spell of 1st-level or higher that deals the damage of your Draconic Spark type, that spell deals an additional 1d8 damage.
Imposing Presence
10th-Level Warlock (The Exalted Wyrm) Feature
Draconic magic has empowered your willpower and force of personality. You are immune to both the
Charmed and
Frightened conditions.
Draconic Wings
14th-Level Warlock (The Exalted Wyrm) Feature
You can use a bonus action to manifest a pair of leathery wings from your back that mirror your patron’s wings at the time of manifestation, which grant you a flying speed equal to your walking speed. These wings last until you use your bonus action to dismiss them.
You cannot manifest your wings while wearing armor unless the armor is specifically made to accommodate them. Any clothes you are wearing that do not accommodate your wings are destroyed when you manifest them.
